Paula Cane Joins Hayes Gibson Property Services

Bloomington, Ind. (January 3, 2018) – Hayes Gibson Property Services (HGPS) is excited to announce their newest member of the team: Paula Cane. Paula joins the company as Vice President of Property Services and will manage and oversee Regional and Area Managers, as well as the portfolio of properties for HGPS. Additionally, she is part of the leadership team responsible for the long-term growth and strategic direction of the company.

Paula comes to HGPS from Milhaus – a regional property management and development company located in several states throughout the Midwest and Southeast – where she was a Regional Director of Residential Services. She oversaw a diverse portfolio of affordable and market-rate properties including newly constructed, rehabilitated and stabilized assets.

Prior to Milhaur, Paula held positions as Regional Vice President at Greystone Property Management, Regional Director at McKinley, Inc., Regional Property Manager at Herman & Kittle and Senior Property Manager at AIMCO. She has extensive experience in the affordable housing industry, specifically with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).

During her time at Greystone Property Management, Paula build the property management division from its inception resulting in a market and affordable portfolio of 6,500 units. Her leadership focused on personnel development, financial results and overall improvement of property performance.

Paula has over 25 years of property management experience and is a member of the National Apartment Association (NAA) and National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). She is a Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS), as well as a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP). She studied at Indiana Wesleyan University.

Paula has one son who is in his senior year of high school. She enjoys spending time boating on Lake Monroe with her family and friends. Paula also has a love for travel; the beach to soak up the sun, but also abroad to soak up beautiful architecture and history.
